UPDATE!
The Superman Celebration 2008 was a huge success! We (the Mid-South Cartoonists Assocation, aka Memphis Mafia) were moved to 715 Market Street at the hospitality of the Four Rivers Church. My dear friend Tim Brown (and partner in crime at Inked Monkey Productions) said he over heard that performers and vendors said this was their most successful year ever and they attributed it to the traffic which followed us all there.
But, here are some links (same video both links) with friends of mine and I seen on CBS News:

Murphy Anderson was a special treat to host there, among other great people who were positioned in our building: artists, writers...
Muley hosted the kids' costume contest again with Harry "Joan" Potter, which was preceeded by a puppet show "SuperMule vs. The Party Pooper," which I hope to have online soon. There was a Chistopher Reeve tribute in which Muley sang Five for Fighting's "Superman" before a video reel of great Christopher Reeve shots, and then hosted, with Tim and Lin Workman (also of Inked Monkey Productions) the door prize give aways. It was much fun to be had.
Be sure to visit www.supercollectibles.com to buy some great Superman souveniers that was offered up at the give aways by a super guy, Jamie Reigle.
Looking forward to seeing all my friends in Metropolis next year!
