Professional Puppet Construction

Postby KevinLWilliams on Wed Oct 17, 2007 4:22 am

While any puppet can be considered professional, there are few which are professionally made! Whether purchasing for a commercial or museum, church or even personal use, a puppet from Kevin L. Williams Productions will be a puppet full of life, especially at the hand of a good performer!

If you already have a design established, send it to us. If you do not have a design created, we can do that for you if you tell us what message you will want to convey with the character and, if you have it, the personality the character will have.

We will need your complete contact information (name, address, phone, fax, and e-mail) as well as the purpose the puppet is needed (live or commercial performance), along with the budget you have for purchasing the puppet (so I can know what kind of puppet to build you and what design elements I can add to it).

You can send all this information to us via the forum by sending a PM to moderator KevinLWilliams.

(And just so you know: We partner with a few other graphic designers and videographers to complete the needs of you and your business!)

This Audrey II was made to satisfy an obsession and to perform live on stage with my partner-in-crime at www.inkedmonkey.com Tim Brown. This can be seen here:

Tim also used puppets of Yoda and Mace Windu from Star Wars to comically entertain fellow fans at a Star Wars Celebration:

Even Lucasfilm heads were turned with positive statements about the characters, which also appeared on several official and fan websites and publications.

A friend hired me to make an Elton John puppet for her, and it was featured in a video submitted to a talk show hoping to gain her a visit with Elton:

Dr. Rotor Copter was fully designed for a museum in Pigeon Forge, TN, and was made as both a puppet and poser, which would be used in displays.
